About Samson Shepherd
My name is Samson Shepherd. I Love my Heavenly Father Yahweh and want to be like Yeshua Jesus. I Love my wife & daughter. Diagnosing, understanding, and fixing technology is 'my thing'. I am a computer consultant, technician, and enthusiast. I am very good at what I do and I enjoy doing it.
I have been serving the Yuma, Arizona area ever since late 2010. I am currently employed as the Director of IT at The Palms RV Resort. I manage everything IT related with this company, including their website (WordPress), email system (GSuite), servers (Windows 2008 R2), workstations (Windows 7), email advertising (Mailchimp), Reservation Software (RMS Cloud), computer security (ESET), LED Street Sign digital ads, networking, printers/copiers, and their WiFi. I've had the honor of training multiple new employees in many aspects, including on how to use software, understanding policy, and proper procedure. I take pleasure in working with this company as they have allowed me to expand my horizons ever since 2011.
I am presently migrating to Florence, Arizona while still maintaining my position in Yuma, Arizona at The Palms RV Resort. I will be offering my computer repair and consulting services locally in that area and surrounding areas as well. Areas I plan to serve: Yuma, Florence, Anthem, Casa Grande, Coolidge, San Tan, Queen Creek, Mesa, Tempe, and Scottsdale.
Over the past 15+ years, I have extended my skills to some small companies and many repeat individual customers. I have over 20 years of extensive computer hardware & software troubleshooting experience and a very thorough knowledge through experience of all versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, including Windows Server 2008 R2. I have limited Linux OS experience. In addition to troubleshooting, training, support, and repairs, I have built many desktop computers from scratch. I am also skilled in remote support (TeamViewer, LogMeIn, etc.). I also have a lot of experience with wired and wireless networking. I feel very comfortable and confident in my skills and ability to help those in need of my kind of service.
I must admit that most of the skills I use in the field come from self-taught experiences and research. With this combination of experience and study, I feel I have a very good understanding of technology, how it all integrates together, and how beneficial it can be. That is the core of my knowledge and what I want to share with others and the best part is … I enjoy doing it!
